These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of umkapapillon.com and the products, content, features, and related services offered by Umka Papillon LLC (collectively, the "Services"). By visiting the website, creating an account, submitting an order, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to these Terms and the policies incorporated into them. These Terms form a binding agreement between you and Umka Papillon LLC. Our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, and Refund & Return Policy are incorporated into these Terms by reference. If a product page or promotion includes additional terms, those terms also apply to the applicable purchase. If there is a direct conflict, the more specific term controls for that transaction.
The Services are intended for adults. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live, to create an account or place an order. The Junior Collection may be enjoyed by families, but purchases must be completed by an adult. By using the Services on behalf of a company or another person, you represent that you have authority to bind that party.
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to our Services, business practices, or legal obligations. The revised Terms will be posted with a new "Last updated" date. Changes apply prospectively unless otherwise stated or required by law. Your continued use of the Services after revised Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of those changes.

You are responsible for providing accurate information and for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You are responsible for activity conducted through your account unless you promptly notify us of unauthorized access. We may suspend or restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect customers, investigate fraud, maintain security, or address violations of these Terms.
We make reasonable efforts to present product descriptions, photographs, colors, measurements, materials, and availability accurately. Screen settings and lighting may affect how colors appear. Handmade goods and products made from natural materials - including natural sheepskin and leather - may vary in color, texture, markings, dimensions, and finish. These individual characteristics are part of the product's craftsmanship and are not defects. Please review all sizing and care information before purchasing.
Prices are displayed in U.S. dollars and may change without notice. Applicable taxes, shipping charges, discounts, and the final order total are shown during checkout before payment is submitted. Payment is processed through Shopify and available payment providers. You represent that you are authorized to use the payment method supplied and authorize the applicable charges for your order.
An order confirmation acknowledges that we received your order; it does not guarantee acceptance. We may decline, limit, or cancel an order for legitimate business reasons, including suspected fraud, unauthorized resale, inventory shortages, pricing or listing errors, shipping restrictions, or policy violations. If we cancel an order after payment is collected, we will refund the amount charged for the canceled item or order. Customer cancellation requests are subject to the status of the order and our published cancellation rules.
Processing times, shipping destinations, rates, free-shipping qualifications, estimated delivery windows, tracking, address responsibilities, and procedures for delayed, lost, or damaged packages are described in our Shipping Policy. Delivery estimates are not guarantees and may be affected by carriers, weather, holidays, address issues, or events outside our reasonable control. If we cannot ship within the promised timeframe, we will provide the notice and options required by applicable law.
Returns are considered. Exchanges are not.
Our written policies are part of every purchase made through the store.
Eligible returns and refunds are governed by our Refund & Return Policy. We do not offer exchanges. When an item qualifies for return, it must be returned for a refund and a new order must be placed separately for the preferred item. For hygiene, customization, and exclusivity reasons, we cannot accept returns of any pet carrier. Nothing in these Terms limits remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded for products that arrive damaged, defective, or materially different from their description.
Promotions and discount codes are subject to their stated terms, expiration dates, product exclusions, and availability. Unless expressly stated otherwise, offers cannot be combined, applied retroactively, redeemed for cash, or transferred. We may correct or cancel a promotion affected by fraud, technical error, or misuse, subject to applicable law.
You are responsible for selecting an appropriate product and size for your pet and for using each item according to its instructions and intended purpose. Always supervise your pet when appropriate, inspect products regularly for wear or damage, and discontinue use if an item becomes unsafe. No pet product is indestructible. Pet carriers are not vehicle safety restraints or suitable for unattended confinement unless a product description expressly states otherwise. Consult a veterinarian when a product may be unsuitable for your pet's health, mobility, behavior, or other individual needs.
The Services and their content - including the Umka Papillon name, logos, artwork, photographs, illustrations, product designs, text, graphics, videos, downloads, and website presentation - are owned by or licensed to Umka Papillon LLC and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may use the Services for personal, non-commercial shopping purposes only. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, scrape, publish, or commercially exploit our content without prior written permission.
If you voluntarily submit a review, photograph, video, comment, suggestion, or other content for publication or promotional use, you retain ownership of your content but grant Umka Papillon LLC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, display, and share it in connection with our business and marketing. You represent that you have the necessary rights and permissions and that your submission is accurate, lawful, and does not violate another person's privacy or intellectual property rights.
A refined shop still requires a few firm boundaries.
Use the Services lawfully, respectfully, and without interfering with others.
You may not use the Services to violate any law; infringe intellectual property, privacy, or other rights; submit false or misleading information; impersonate another person; transmit malware or harmful code; interfere with security or operation of the Services; scrape or harvest data without permission; attempt unauthorized access; engage in fraudulent chargebacks; resell products in a misleading or unauthorized manner; or use the Services for abusive, obscene, discriminatory, or unlawful activity. We may take reasonable action to prevent or address prohibited conduct.
The Services may use or link to third-party platforms, payment providers, social networks, analytics tools, shipping services, or other websites. Third parties operate under their own terms and privacy practices. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, availability, security, or conduct. Your use of a third-party service is at your own discretion and may be subject to a separate agreement with that provider.
Information may occasionally contain typographical errors, inaccuracies, omissions, or technical issues relating to descriptions, pricing, promotions, shipping charges, delivery estimates, or availability. We may correct information, update the Services, limit quantities, discontinue products, or cancel affected orders. If a correction materially changes an order after payment, we will notify you and provide an appropriate refund or other remedy as required by law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not promise that the website will always be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim results from our own unlawful conduct or negligence where such limitation is prohibited.
You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary because of fraud, security risk, unlawful activity, material breach, or harm to the Services or other users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination - including intellectual property, payment obligations, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, and governing law - will remain in effect.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where the mandatory consumer laws of your residence apply. Subject to any rights that cannot be waived, disputes relating to these Terms or the Services will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona, and the parties consent to those courts' jurisdiction.
These Terms and the policies incorporated by reference constitute the entire agreement concerning the Services. If a provision is found unlawful or unenforceable, it will be limited or severed to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will continue in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, sale, reorganization, or transfer of our business. We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
